Sponsor a child today!

Approximately 15 million people in Kenya live in extreme poverty, and the economic and social disruption caused by the global pandemic has significantly increased that number – with children feeling the greatest impact.

Because children are often most vulnerable when living in the grip of poverty, we launched a ‘sponsor a child’ initiative to help children in Kenya have access to the resources they need to do well despite their poverty. Without access to basic needs, such as housing, water, nutrition, health, sanitation and education, children have very little opportunity to thrive.

When you sponsor a child, you are entering into a supportive relationship that will help address the basic needs of an impoverished child. Your support signals that you care about the child’s well-being, and although you may be far away, that you have a heartfelt desire to ensure that his or her physical, emotional, spiritual, cognitive and economic needs are not neglected.

The child you sponsor will have:

  • Access to education – Your donation helps pay for your sponsored child’s school fees, clothing, supplies, and/or tutoring. It may also pay for an opportunity to attend a literacy program.
  • Increased health – Your donation will help address the health needs of your sponsored child and, with our involvement, they will be taught basic hygiene so that they understand how to care of themselves.
  • Opportunities to develop self-confidence – Your child will be able to participate in programs where adults will provide caring personal attention so that they can develop a sense of self-worth on a local level.
  • Access to spiritual teachings – as a faith-based ministry, we introduce children to Christian principles. We do this with a very light touch and take care not to indoctrinate them into our faith

We believe that every child is of infinite value; that every child matters; and that every act of love and compassion has eternal value. We have no ulterior motive other than to simply work in Jesus’s name.
